A Personal Film Journal

Not just the stories
we watch.
But the things we take away.

Films, feelings, and everything in between. A personal journal exploring the stories, emotions, and questions that stay with us long after the screen goes dark.

Some things are made for the big screen.

Cinema is movement, sound, colour, chaos, and feeling. Sometimes a few seconds of film can say more than a thousand words.

A love letter to cinema

Lights. Camera.
Everything.

A little cinematic chaos, inspired by Babylon.

Beyond the screen

Some stories end. Some stay with you.

I love films that leave something unresolved. A character we recognise, an ending we question, or a scene we replay in our heads. This is where I explore what stories can tell us about ambition, identity, fear, belonging, and the complicated business of being human.

A moving moodboard

Sometimes one frame says everything.

The colour, the movement, the tiny details. These are the kinds of moments that make a film feel like its own little universe.

Look a little closer

Every story has another side.

A different character, a second viewing, one detail you missed. The same film can become a different story when you look again.

The film journal

Stories worth staying for.

Three films, three different questions. Read a review, bring your own interpretation, and see what stays with you.

M. THE PERSON
BEHIND THE NOTES
The person behind the pauses

More than a person who watches films.

I’m drawn to stories that leave something unresolved. Films that make me question what I see, reconsider what I thought I understood, and notice the parts of people that are not immediately visible.

Through After the Credits, I explore cinema through its characters, visual worlds, emotions, and the ideas that linger after the final scene. I enjoy looking beyond the plot to consider what a story might reveal about being human.

This journal is my space to reflect, connect ideas, and share the small details that make a film worth remembering.

A note to remember
“Some films feel like a place you’ve been before, even if you’ve never been there.”
